Kaluz Restaurant Plantation

This is an upscale American restaurant and bar that has several locations in Broward county and one in Wellington, FL. We went to their Plantantion location and almost missed it because there is a tree that covers the restaurant’s name. Plenty of onsite parking, very stylist modern atmosphere but made cozy with the touches of wood everywhere. Food was really tasty and was delivered promptly by a friendly server. Portion are nice sized so if you want, you could easily share a plate and order more appetizers. We had their caramelizes pear and prosciutto flatbread with a drizzle of vinegar reduction that was really good! We also tried the shrimp cargot that was amazing. Shrimp were a bit overcooked but super super delicious and full of flavor. The baguette with the havarti cheese and butter?

I came to Kaluz for lunch, and this was by far the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. Everything—from the atmosphere to the food to the staff—was truly luxury level. The impacting service, it actually highlighted how incredibly well-run this place is. Management was clearly on the floor, hands-on and fully involved, and it showed in every detail. Not one person was standing around. Staff members stepped in to help even when it wasn’t their table or their role. That level of teamwork and awareness is rare and impressive. Where do I begin this entire experience was stellar to the service, food and atmosphere everything was perfect. Our server Alessandro or Alex recommended the calamari and it was amazing super flavor and it was a very generous portion size. Then came the entrees I order the chefs special miso short rib and my girlfriend ordered the salmon. My goodness the entrees were amazing. The short rib was served with a creamy smashed potato and the short rib itself was super tender and packed with flavor. You could cut the short rib with a butter knife i was extremely pleased with this short rib. My girlfriend also was super pleased with her salmon. The entrees were served with a very generous portion size like the appetizers. The total overall experience was fantastic. I definitely will be visiting

We took a co-worker out for lunch to celebrate his retirement. The restaurant is gorgeous and relaxing at the same time. The staff is attentive and on point. I ordered the brussel sprouts and the Thai Noodle & Shrimp. The Brussle Sprouts were really good they were tossed in a garlic parmesan aioli with bacon and scallions. It was extremely tasty my only issue they need to add a bit more bacon there is alot of sprouts and the few bacon pieces got lost. It's a big portion for an appetizer that definitely can be shared. I also got the Thai Noodle & Shrimp salad. Its a cold salad with off the grill spicy Shrimp. There are so many flavors going on in this salad each bite has a different taste.
