JB Malone's Bar & Grill

Food was very good. Salads came out quick and everything was fresh. Then the wings and mushrooms followed. Again, everything was delicious. My wife had a pasta dish with chicken and I had the blackened tuna. Right on point and very delicious. Did I mention how good everything was? lol Our server was quick and friendly. The building is a little plain on the outside and it’s a gravel parking lot, but don’t let that stop you from visiting.

I recommend this place if you live or live in Salem. The food and service are great and the location is clean. Prices are affordable and a good value. It is obvious that health inspections are not strict in this area and that is it is up to local businesses to maintain their own standards. It is clear that this bar cares about the quality of food, service, and cleanliness that they provide. The food quality, service, and cleanliness of this establishment make this one of my go to places when in Salem.

We came down to the area for a float trip weekend and found this restaurant. The waitress was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. We ate pickle spears, a New York strip, sirloin steak, chicken strips, chicken fettuccine, plus a few other things. Our cousin ate potatoe skins and wings. Update: We brought friends here after a float trip and got pickle spears, cheese curds, a patty melt, mushroom Swiss burger, steak tips, hot wings/ pickle fries, chicken stripe, make your own wrap, spinach salad, chicken alfredo, salads. They have coke products and sweet tea. They were all delicious! Our waitress did an amazing job while the place was packed. The parking lot is HUGE! It is big enough for RVs or Semi's.

The food is excellent. The service is excellent. We had fried green tomatoes BLT, a club sandwich, steamed veggies, and baked sweet potato. Everything tasted great. They have live music but we didn't stay late enough to listen. Definitely a place I would come back to!

I ordered bone in wings but got boneless by mistake. I wasn't too concerned and kept the order but I wouldn't recommend those to anyone else as they are the same as bagged frozen from the store. Not bad, but not great either. Everyone else's food looked just fine as far as I could tell. The seating is high table bar seating as it is a bar that you're eating in. A few regular tables and a few outside, but you'll need to order inside as there is no outdoor service. The prices seemed kinda high in my opinion for such an establishment that isn't a true restaurant. I'd eat here again but maybe stick to a burger or sandwich.
