Island Vibes Cafe

Love the vibe of this cafe! They have a very wide selection of really good breakfast, lunch, cafe items, and a pizza menu at dinner time. We came back twice during our trip! + they also sell the most beautiful postcards I could find on Maui and other local products :)

I write this to you from my local New York City coffee shop, the Samurai Champloo soundtrack spinning in my wired apple headphones, a zyn tucked high and tight, and a black coffee blessing my lips. What more could a guy ask for? I'm fresh back in this manic city off of a trip to Maui. What a special place. Polar opposite vibe of New York, but I love both. I NEED both. Island Vibes Cafe became our local cafe/coffee shop to get the day started, as it was a short walk from the Airbnb. These places are special. They become home and give you a little slice of routine while on vacation. I was essentially living off of the Chocolate Peanut Butter Sunrise smoothie ($11) and the Peanut Butter Banana Bagel ($11.50). It was straight fuel for me, no better way to get the day started. Our hotel breakfast restaurant was packed. So we had to find a close option. We found this and it was delicious! The bowls are very good, the chai latte was the best I ever had. The breakfast burrito and mango shake was also good, just not my favorite. But the pineapple was with the best I ever had too. The staff is really nice. Unfortunately it’s inside, instead of right at the beach… but the food was totally worth the trip!

Very cute breakfast-and-lunch restaurant. Our food was fine. Parking is a challenge--after finding no spaces in the lot on a Monday morning, we parked along the street.

Island Vibes Cafe is a low-key gem near Napili, perfect after a morning swim. I had the breakfast burrito—fresh, filling, and flavorful. The staff was warm, and the vibe casual but clean. Parking is tight, so expect a short walk. Solid spot for locals and visitors wanting a chill, satisfying start to the day.
