Ho'oilo House Bed and Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at Ho'oilo House! The property is so serene and beautiful. There were many Monarch butterflies in the yard and the grounds were lovely. We really enjoyed relaxing poolside with the yummy and substantial continental breakfast in the morning. The chocolate banana scones were totally delectable. The common area has a cool open air design so you feel outside even when you're in. Our room was very comfortable and the outdoor shower was fun. Our host, Dan, was a great source of info and very chill. Loved our visit!!

I spent some time thinking about a fair review. This bed and breakfast has a lot of positives going for it. The view is incredible. The pool area was super cute and the decor is unique. The outdoor shower and inset tub are very cool. The homemade bread and muffins were excellent! Our room was also impressively clean!||The tough part of this bnb is that from the photos you can’t really tell that this property is quite literally at their house. It did feel like you were in someone else’s space. Upon check in we asked about a key to our room and they said one could be provided if we wanted so they’re operating on a trust system which is nice but odd. In the room we stayed in Honu - there is no door on the bathroom and there’s a mirror right in front of the toilet leaving very little restroom

Woooow! What an amazing experience. It was our first time visiting Maui. We were bit skeptical to book this place or hotel. But couldn’t take the eye out of this place. We stayed for 4 days, each day we were enjoyed the complete stay. After the exhaustive day trips in Maui, we were so happy to return home. Every day morning, we were fed the fresh fruits, house-baked vegan bread and many more items… The water facing view was excellent with birds chirping in the garden. Totally it was a great place (home away from home) and would love to go back and also recommended all my friends who are visiting Maui!!

I am so glad we chose to stay here during our trip to Maui. The feeling of calm that washes over you as soon as you arrive is so special. The house decor and layout is so thoughtful and airy which makes you feel at home straight away. We stayed in the ‘Kohola’ room with the outdoor shower which was a cool experience. The view from the pool area is amazing and we enjoyed the sunsets here. Breakfast was simple but really nice, eating the homemade bread and muffins, the fresh fruit on the patio make for a perfect morning. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had longer!

Stayed here for 4 nights and had the most relaxing time. Dan was a gracious host and the room was gorgeous. We stayed in the honu room which had the most amazing outdoor shower. The area was really peaceful and quiet. The included breakfast included the most incredible fresh fruit as well. Would highly recommend
