Alura’s Cinnamon Rollz

Was too hungry on the way to Aunt Sandy’s to wait, and pulled up bakeries near me. Cinnamon roll with lilikoi glaze? The way we swerved so fast to go to this place! Walked up to a charming little stand in a lot with several vendors, with shaded tables and a lovely, warm woman at the counter. While we were waiting for the people ahead of us to finish their order I noticed a small sign on the side that said the vendors in the little lot were all victims of the Lahaina fire, and that by patronizing them we were directly helping people get back on their feet. Delicious food with a side of helping people? The best! When it was our turn, she put a takeout container on the counter and opened it up to show us the hugest, most enticing cinnamon roll I’ve ever seen. Spouse doesn’t even like cinnamo

Best cinnamon roll we’ve ever had!!! The hint of lilikoi in the icing is EVERYTHING. The cinnamon roll itself was soft and fluffy with the perfect amount of caramelized sugar accompanying each and every bite. Can’t wait to come back and get another one… or two before we leave. Alura was so sweet and we loved chatting with her for a few before we dug into our memorable cinnamon roll… heck, even the drip coffee was memorable! If you haven’t been… just go. You won’t be disappointed.

These are absolutely AMAZING!!! We love coming to Maui and finding different cinnamon rolls and these are definitely in our top 3! HUGE and absolutely delicious, especially when you heat them up for 30 seconds.
