Hearty small-town cafe vibes done right! ☕️ The Iron Kettle Cafe has amazing prices ($2 coffee!) and quick, friendly service. The place was decorated perfectly for Halloween, with local country music playing & families filling the place. The food was delicious and comforting; exactly what you would like from a local gem like this. Special thanks to Nadia for her responsiveness and attention to detail!
Such a charming little breakfast spot! It has that old-school, cozy feel that makes you instantly comfortable the moment you walk in. The food was delicious, the portions were just right, and the waitresses were incredibly friendly and welcoming — like you’re eating at a family member’s house. But the real star? The hot chocolate. Hands down the best I’ve ever had — rich, warm, and absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for a simple, comforting breakfast with great service and that nostalgic small-diner atmosphere, this place is a must-try.
The restaurant on a Sunday was busy and hot. The ACs did not seem to be able to keep up and neither did the cook staff. The food took over 45 min to come out. The fries were tasty. My eggs cooked over medium were cooked correctly. But the wait was the most memorable part of the visit. This is CASH ONLY! They don't have signs and don't tell you till you go to pay then point you to the ATM.
I love diners and breakfast spots and of course deli’s. I was in town visiting a friend stayed the night and of course we needed to go out and have some breakfast and he recommended we try this spot. Let me start off by stating this is an old-school retro breakfast spot if you’re not into that type of thing and you’re looking for flashy modern furniture this is not the place to go if you want good home cooking food that you would make it home this is the spot you go to where the locals go Service was amazing, the food was great. We both ordered omelettes. It has a cool vibe inside and you can watch the action of your food being cooked while sitting down.
They only accept cash or checks. I don't get this place, we just left a different restaurant that said the same thing. But here we just gave up and stayed. At the end of the day the experience here was just fine. It isn't the most comfy place for me personally, but it is basic not bad quality standard breakfast food. You won't find anything overly crafty or extra high quality, but the people were nice and the food was fine. If for some reason you have cash on hand, or don't mind using the ATM next to the table, this place would be fine. The coffee is standard not great typical old school breakfast place coffee, to which you'll happily add milk to smooth it out.
