Inn on La Loma Plaza

We loved this place! The property is very cute, it sits on a historic plaza. Peggy was fabulous, she was knowledgeable about the area and the history, and she makes a fantastic breakfast with many options. (Don't skip the banana nut bread or the lemon bread!) Our family booked two rooms, they were both great. Each decorated in a unique way, the sheets are VERY soft. We also received a lot of detailed information before the visit from the property and I was very prepared. (The price was also reasonable.) I also took Peggy's recommendations on restaurants (some require reservations so check beforehand) and never had a bad meal while we were there. The location was perfect for us. The Inn is easily walkable to the downtown area (10 min walk) and many restaurants, and 25 min drive to the Sk

We loved this place! Everything about it: the rooms we had were both fantastic, (great sheets), the breakfast was wonderful (freshly made, many options and accommodating on the time), the location was perfect (10 min walk to downtown, 25-30 min drive to Ski Valley), Peggy was knowledgeable about the local history, the history of the property itself (which was very interesting) and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. (We did not have a bad meal in Taos - take all of her recs.) The house-dog Winston was very sweet. We were able to take our 2 little dogs on this trip and they loved Winston. (He was very well behaved.) The price of this property was also very reasonable. We will stay there on our return trip to Taos, which I hope is very soon!

My wife and I stayed at the Inn on Loma Plaza for two days and we have no negative comments. The room we stayed in was small but very warm and cozy. The owner, Peggy is very friendly and helpful and her dog, Winston was also friendly. Peggy was so gracious and she made a delicious and satisfying breakfast each morning. There were also a wide variety of movies on both DVD and VHS format as well as books that guests could borrow for the duration of their stay. So many pluses to mention but we highly recommend this location to anyone planning a trip to Taos. I can safely say that you will not be disappointed. Thank you Peggy (and Winston) for making our stay a memorable one and we hope to return one day.

Delightful inn to stay while visiting Taos. Close to the main square yet away from the noise. Excellent communication with the hotel. Made to order breakfasts were amazing and staff was friendly and helpful. Even though we didn't take our dogs, we enjoyed meeting some of the traveling pets.

We stayed at the Inn on La Loma Plaza last week for two nights. If you are expecting a fancy inn, this is not for you. However, our room was clean and authentic as part of it dates back to the 1800s and has been lovingly restored. Setting was beautiful. Furnishings were lovely, bed was comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious, nothing too fancy but home cooking. We enjoyed our interactions with Peggy and making friends with her Springer spaniel, Winston.
