Inn on the Rio

Pleasant experience. Staff was amazing and genuinely happy to see me as a guest. I felt welcomed. The room was clean, toasty and warm waiting on me. Breakfast had French southwest vibes. Green Chile quiche, fresh fruit, fresh baked bread!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms and breakfast room are beautifully decorated, and the mattress was super comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. The location is quiet. The building is old and a little bit frayed around the edges, but nothing too serious. Robert is a great host. We will definitely stay here again.

Positive: The breakfast was outstanding! The hot tub and its rediness was great. Very nice relaxing place to stay! Negative: The room was nice and quaint with everything we needed, however we prefer a softer bed and the two that were in our room would be rated more firm and firmest.

This is a very beautiful inn with very unique, well decorated rooms. It's the kind of place where you can tell the owners pay attention to detail in every way and enjoy hosting guests. It's in a very quiet, scenic location.||The owners are very friendly and helpful with advice about places to see, dining suggestions, and ways to avoid traffic with all the construction going on in Taos lately. ||A home cooked, unique breakfast is included in the nice dining area. ||My only regret is that we only stayed here one night. I would definitely return here if we were in the area again.

I stayed at the Inn on the Rio recently for an evening. You can’t beat the location. And Robert is an incredible old school host. Really cares about the guest and is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area of Taos. Such a pleasant man. I can’t wait to return here as I continue to explore Taos, New Mexico.
