Hacienda del Sol

Wonderful place. I’m glad we stayed here during our visit to Taos. Absolute hidden gem , charming and quiet . Room was spacious and clean, feels more like little house, wood burning kiva gives it great local vibe. Breakfast was served with amazing hospitality and food. Hot tub outside is a big plus, we enjoyed the sky full of stars. My only suggestion is to provide more information to guests about amenities available onsite. We were not informed about hot tub reservations or extra wood logs. Also it would be great if you have hot coffee available earlier in the morning before breakfast time.

What fantastic service! We had four rooms, two in the old building and two in Mabel’s additions. They were all charming. We loved having the kivas in the rooms. The lounge at the front was a great place to gather each evening. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to return!

Lovely spot! Our stay here was fantastic. We stayed in the “Southwest Villa”, which included a decked out kitchen, Keurig + coffee + creamers included. It was very spacious, and surprisingly warm and cozy. There’s also a hot tub in the back of the property that we didn’t get to try, but is available to everyone. The breakfast was stellar! Cory and his team were very hospitable. Definitely recommend Hacienda del Sol.

Hotel Hacienda del Sol was an absolute gem during our visit to Taos, New Mexico. It felt wonderfully cozy and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home from the start. Corey was so sweet and accommodating, always making sure we had what we needed, whether we had an early start or a relaxed morning. Breakfast each day was a delicious treat. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for exploring Taos and getting up to Taos Ski Resort. If you’re visiting for the town and the slopes, it’s a perfect home base. I can’t recommend it enough!
