Inn at Tanglewood Hall

Great little inn. It is beautiful and charming. The innkeepers, Andy and Su, are extremely accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was 10/10. We stayed in the York Harbor Suite & it was very large. It even had its own sunroom. Andy gave us a map and showed us all of the best places to see/drive/visit. We had a great time & would love to visit again one day.

Real nice, comfortable and casual bed and breakfast with friendly and attentive innkeepers. Old world charm. Tasty breakfasts. Big front porch, great for relaxing, reading, playing acoustic guitar and chatting with other guests. Place is clean and well maintained. Enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely stay! This is a beautiful home with all the sweet and comfy touches to make your stay just wonderful. First of all, as you drive in you see the absolutely beautiful grounds...trees, fountains, flowers, and at night it all glows! Fairly lights are just the perfect touch. We were in Room 6. A few steps down into the room which is large and comfortable. Chairs to relax in, and a great porch to just hang out and enjoy the grounds. Very private. The hosts are terrific. So many nice touches. Drinks and cookies out for you during the day, information about the area, and they keep the home impeccably clean. Breakfast on the porch is a special treat. We stayed three nights in the Harbor Suite. It was lovely, comfortable, spacious and quiet. The hosts were friendly and very helpful providing suggestions for excursions, complete with maps. Breakfasts were tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day.

Not normally one to write poor reviews, but wanted to share my experience in case anyone is traveling in for events or weddings. My best friends wedding is next summer, and she was looking around at places in York to stay. York does not offer hotel room blocks for weddings, which we knew, so the guests all need to stay at different hotels across the area. We found this B&B and it was perfect -- a .3 mile distance from the wedding. On their website, it says they do not accommodate renting out their entire B&B for group events, which again, we knew since York does not offer hotel blocks. There were going to be a few couples from the bridal party (who were making different reservations - some of us don't even know each other) who were going to be booking.
