Iki Omakase was an amazing experience, and one of the best we’ve had in the Bay Area. Chef Lee puts a lot of care and attention to detail in the 20 course menu. He ships his fish weekly, serves wet and dry age fish to perfection, and compliments with unique appetizers. One of the few omakase spots we would return to. Very highly recommend!

Minimalistic pleasant interior and beautiful tableware, especially the glassware. Not too many appetizers, which is - it lets you truly enjoy the variety of nigiri. Open for brunch and lunch - a perfect spot to come at midday for sushi and delicious green tea. My absolute favorites are fatty tuna, bluefin tuna with caviar. The snow crab soup with yuzu is also delicious, with a beautiful balance of sweet and tangy flavors.

first time trying omakase in the Bay Area, and I picked this spot because it only has eight seats—exactly the kind of small, intimate setting I was looking for. The interior is nicely designed, and I especially love the raw wood counter; it adds a warm and authentic touch to the whole experience. The lunch set comes with five appetizers and nine pieces of sushi, which is a very solid deal for the price. The fish was extremely fresh, and every course had a clean, elegant presentation. I also ordered the sake pairing, and I’d say it was definitely worth it—well matched, generous, and not overpriced. Service was excellent. Unlike larger omakase restaurants in the Bay Area where you sometimes feel rushed, everything here was paced thoughtfully. Chef Li personally served each piece and expla

Iki Omakase gave me one of the most enjoyable omakase experiences I’ve had. The food was excellent — super fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and every course felt thoughtfully prepared. The uni was incredibly sweet and the toro literally melted in my mouth. What made the night even better was the chef. He wasn’t just skilled — he was really funny and made the whole experience more relaxed and enjoyable. His jokes, stories, and interactions added a personal touch that you don’t get at many omakase places. You can tell he loves what he’s doing. Service was warm and attentive, and the pacing of the meal was just right. For the price, this was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend Iki Omakase to friends!

It was very difficult for me to give Iki 3-stars. As a matter of fact, despite it being a "soft launch", and even with that benefit of doubt, I don't think I'll be returning here again. So what's the issue? When you reserve Iki, you are intrigued by the $195/person omakase experience. So this price point is slightly cheaper than your Michelin star omakases and you hope you get similar quality or experience. But this backfires miserably. First, the price is not $195. There is a mandatory 20% service fee which is NOT tip. This is just part of the price. So it comes out to $240/person. Again, we felt cheated with this bait-and-switch tactic. Second, the consistency of the various sushi or courses in terms of how mind-blowing they are were all over the place. There were some sushi like the
