CRUST Sourdough Deli (Palo Alto Square)

Delicious hot and cold sourdough sandwiches and other offerings such as salads and cookies. We got to meet the store owner and he greeted all the customers with such enthusiasm and kindness. This location is very nice with plenty of seatings and free parking. Fast service and food came out very fast. This will be one of our go to spots.

Huge fan of Crust! Two of us ordered: Signature Item PA × 2 $27.98 ($13.99 ea.) Add AVO PA $1.75 Premium Drink $3.49 CHIPS $2.69 Regular Drink $2.49 Staff was friendly. Seating inside and outside. Mat portions were definitely lacking (from my memory from previous Crust locations)...so definitely a bit more bread-y than what I had hoped for. Parking easy to find in the plaza, but need to walk a few steps to get to the actual store front.

The sandwiches were very good. The bread is excellent. I would skip the drinks and chips. The sandwich itself is expensive. This location was hard to find and odd location. It's next to a business building. Love the unlimited pickles.

I've been here twice now, first when they opened and again today and I have to say they are very consistent. I'd really like to give them a 4.5 and what lowers it a bit for me is the lack of bread selection. I understand that it's a sourdough deli but it would be nice to have some variations of sourdough such as an olive sourdough, etc. For the sandwiches themselves, I liked the portion size and the filling amounts match as well and have some good weight so I think they're worth the price. The veggies and cheese are all great as well and really fresh. I came back for the meatball since they're made in house so I had to come back and try them and they were worth it, great texture and size.
