During Family Weekend, we wanted to treat our son and his friends to a special dinner, and choosing Marugame Restaurant was truly one of the highlights of our visit. When I called to arrange a reservation for a large group, Jordan answered and immediately put me at ease. He was patient, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful in coordinating everything over the phone. The food was decent, but they have started offering extra veggies and sauce without saying that it costs extra. They also advertised a promotion for 2$ tempura, so I tried to get a crab stick tempura, but then the cashier told me it only applies to shrimp tempura. I would consider that false advertising (see attached picture). So in general you can expect decent udon but I would be careful not to get tricked into spending a few extra dollars.

I'm so happy there's finally a Marugame Udon location in the mid-Peninsula. I ordered the creamy broth udon, and it was delicious, rich, flavorful, and comforting. Their tempura and fried sides were crispy, fresh, and not greasy. It's great that you can pick and choose what you want to go with your noodles. The service was quick, and the setup is efficient and casual. Perfect for a satisfying, no-fuss meal. I'll definitely be back!
