Heritage Deli & Cafe

Nice, newer deli in a strip mall. Fantastic early bird value on the breakfast sandwich till 10:00 a.m. It was stuffed with crispy bacon and excellent all the way around. Service was a bit mechanical but efficient.

The food is excellent, especially for the prices. The ability to order online is also super convenient, as it's probably about a 15 minute drive from my office and by the time I get there, my food is always ready for me to pick up and go. People behind the counter are very friendly and nice, I literally recommend this place to my friends and coworkers all the time, I'm here probably every other day. If you ever see the Southern Pride chicken sandwich come up in their weekly specials, I cannot recommend it enough!

i’ve been searching for a new go go sandwich spot in southbury - got a little sick of the other stuff around - this place did not disappoint!!! they took my order quick cashed me out and i only waited about 4 min for my sandwich!!! really REALLY good chicken salad … the bacon was not fatty or cold or old tasting like it sat out - fresh lettuce and tomato - clearly fresh rolls … i will be back asap!!!

I drove 45 mins for the chipotle cheesesteak today and it did not disappoint. Always delicious. Amazing staff. Keep up the great work!

I’ve been going to this deli for around 4 years, both at their new and old locations, I can say it’s one of the best places to get a quick bite to eat while supporting a local business. Love their early bird special with their egg sandwiches, $2.50 for a meat, egg and cheese sandwich! You can’t beat that especially with how expensive everything has gotten in recent years. The wicked chicken will always be a favorite for me, you can also order mobile with ChowNow which is convenient if you don’t want to call in. Service is great, the girl taking orders is always bright and social, always making for a wonderful experience. Both indoor and outdoor seating, right by the southbury green. I’m glad their new location gives them more foot traffic and exposure.
