RaaSa Indian Cuisine

This was my third experience with RaaSa - Twice dining in and once for takeout - and every time has been better than the last. The food is consistently good and the servers are very attentive. There is so much on the menu it’s hard to choose just one dish. The Tikka Masala and Tandoori chicken are phenomenal!! So glad to have a new go-to spot.

We live about 1/2 hour away in Danbury and have been to many Indian restaurants. Since we had an appointment in Southbury we decided to try this Heritage Village restaurant. It was excellent! I judge Indian restaurants by their Dal Tadka. RaSaa’s was flavorful and bountiful. The Masala chai was delicious too. Service was attentive and although were didn’t partake they appear to have a full bar. When our server brought us (without asking) a pint of fresh jasmine rice we were really impressed. And all of this was very reasonably priced! Highly recommended!

Very good food and service. The roasted beet appetizer is off the charts and the malai kofta may be the best I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is basically that of a hospital operating room - bright lights, white walls white ceiling white floor, just awful. Paint the walls maroon, hang some batiks, dim the lights, and put candles or LED lamps on the tables and it’d be fabulous.

The food was excellent! The service was great and the staff was very friendly. The space was clean and we loved the music to set the vibe. A cozy little place. I would love to see a little more cultural decor. We will be back!

Great service, extremely personable and quick with a number of recommendations off the menu. The food was delicious! The flavors are all so powerful, distinct and intentional with its preparation. Strongly recommend !!
