Hartford Giant Grinder

I always go here for grinders whenever I am in DT Niantic area. The grinders are ALWAYS CONSISTENTLY GREAT. The Italian bread is FRESHLY BAKED & pillowy soft but with a slight chew to the crust so it holds up to the sauces or oil & vinegar. There’s always plenty of protein & veggies. The portions are GENEROUS. I tend to order a small turkey, provolone LTMOP, with a bit of spicy mustard. 💥They cook many of their meats IN HOUSE EVERY AM💥. They always use fresh veggies in all their menu items: shredded Iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, white onion, dill pickles, peppers etc. The SMALL sub is a LARGE anywhere else. I had chicken salad today & I am VERY picky about chicken salad. It was ALL shredded white meat chicken breast with some mayo. It was EXCELLENT. I am now an also a HUGE FAN of their CHICKE

Had a 12" ham today. Advice to anyone new going, just a 6" will do you. They pack that sandwich so full with ham I could only eat HALF of it and I don't see me being hungry enough to finish the other half til tomorrow lol. And it's cheap for a ginormous sandwhich all I paid was $10 and some change. Subway move over cause I just found a better place. Definitely recommend if you're in the Niantic area and looking for a food grinder

Best grinder I ever had last month. Will be there next weekend and as often as I can. Makes Subway look like a pig in a blanket lol

Unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. $13 with tax and tip for this half grinder. While the taste was good, the size absolutely didn't warrant the price (as you can see it wasn't even the advertised 8") and the fillings fell short. Maybe you'll have a better experience.......

Giant giant subs filled with meat and veggies.. I got a large and it’s two 12” subs for 20 bucks . You can’t beat that price and the quality . So gooooood
