Grist Mill & Cinnamon Bread

Even on a cold rainy night with a limited crowd on the last day of the Christmas event, there was a long line for this place! I only tried the cinnamon bread. It had a lot of sugar crystals in the cinnamon mix that hadn't dissolved so It was sugar bomb and I love sweet desserts! Staff was friendly and there's a decent sized selection of treats. The bread is in a cardboard type box with opening in the sides. This caused a lot of leaking while carrying back to the exit in the rain. It's a cute bakery but the bread didn't live up to the hype for me.

First off Dollywood is amazing and the cinnamon bread there is no words it's the best cinnamon bread I think I have ever had soooooooo good its fresh and hot and they give you frosting you must eat it warm the cinnamon bread is very popular and the line gets long but goes fast you have to order and pay then make your way into the Grist Mill &Cinnamon bread hut where there are making it definitely a must stop at Dollywood

Absolutely mind blowing fresh baked cinnamon bread! It’s like the best cinnamon roll you’ve ever had x20! Make a special trip here before you leave Dollywood! You’ll be very very glad you did!

Visiting from Ireland, at the end of our adventure at Dollywood my friends said I needed to try the famous cinnamon bread. I'm glad they did; it's quite possibly the sweetest and tastiest thing I have ever eaten. It was sugary, warm, fluffy, and with a bit of icing and apple butter I could almost feel my soul leave my body. It was the perfect was to end the trip, and I am sad I won't have anything like it until I visit again.

The Gris Mill is not only an eye catching attraction, this is where the wonderful Cinnamon Bread is made, cooked and is also a main pickup point for it. This old reproduction mill building is interesting to look around in. Very much worth a visit, but if you want Cinnamon Bread be sure to order it next door as this is just a pickup place.
