Good Day Cafe

Service is not friendly and definitely needs to improve, a huge red flag! Although we clearly placed an order for a Danish, we were handed over a scone. After explaining that we received a wrong order the staff had a stiff face as if we were talking gibberish. Not just us but whomever was next in queue there was no smile, no greetings exchanged! Danish was nice and crispy. Hot latte Coffee was okay. Considering it's the only cafe space along the main street on the Mackinaw island, apart from Starbucks, people look forward to a good cup of coffee and a croissant or a decent patisserie goodies.

Very busy, but a good place for a quick cup of coffee and a pastry to get the day going. I'm going to a coffee shop and sometimes have to explain to the folks that I just want to plain black coffee. Not a big iced or mixed or added-to drink person when it comes to coffee, so I couldn't comment beyond the coffee itself, which was good. The pastries were fresh and tasty. The staff was working hard the whole time we were there and were very courteous.

Busy spot in the busy area of the island. Seating inside is a hit or miss so keep that in mind. This is our go to spot for ice cream, it’s soooo good! Only thing is the line tends to be long, the workers are always rushing you and not the kindest, but the ice cream is worth it just be patient and know what you want!

I ordered the Avocado toast with seasoning and Decaffeinated coffee. The food was great! Quick service. The bathroom was the cleanest public bathroom I have ever seen! The staff was okay. You get the vibe that it's just a job to the the employees working there.

We came here every day that we were on the island. The staff were friendly, fast and very polite. The ice cream, smoothies and sandwiches were delicious!! Try the affogato!
