Gemelli Gelato of Hampton Bays

Omg! This gelato is truly amazing! We tried the Dubai chocolate, the hazelnut and banana Nutella. Our favorite was the Dubai chocolate and I told the owner we would be back on the way home for a quart. Needless to say, the quart is gone one night later and I'm already thinking of when I'm going back to get more!! My husband had the chocolate cone and that was great also! I was too busy enjoying mine to get a picture of his! Don't deprive yourself! Go! Danamakesmoves, Your LI realtor!

I had the three-scoop bowl with pistachio, Nutella, and sacharetella—each one was absolutely spot-on. The pistachio was rich and creamy with real nut flavor (none of that fake green stuff), the Nutella was smooth and decadent, and the sacharetella had those incredible chocolate shavings that melt just right. All three worked perfectly together without one overpowering the others. You can tell everything’s made fresh and with care. Very inviting spot for a quick treat ! The outside area has picnic tables and Adirondack chairs to enjoy on the spot. The service is great, you can try the flavors ahead to make sure that's the delightful gelato taste your craving. I enjoyed a 2 scoop pistachio and chocolate marshmallow. Tasty and rich, gelato was not melting fast even with the humidity. The price was so reasonable, $5.95 for a two scoop is a value these days. Stopped by last year but couldn't get anything bc we didn't realize it was cash only. Finally got to stop here again this summer and on a weekday so it was much less busy. The gentleman helping us was very friendly and nice. Portions were very generous and he made our cones look good for the gram! The mango and strawberry are delicious and they have a great wide selection of cones too. Thank you again for having us.

One of the best gelato’s we have had in New York/Hamptons (all 6 of us agree).The texture is so smooth and creamy. We came here twice on a weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed their flavors. We had their banana, pistachio, chocolate, strawberry and coffee gelato in their cute cones which they outsource from a lady in Brooklyn and the cones were really tasty. We tried their lavender cone, their red velvet one and also their cinnamon brown sugar cone - everything was amazing. Their blood orange sorbet was off the charts too! Cute spot!
