G & T's Soul Food

G&T’s soul food . Food was good , macaroni was delicious and so were the yams, collards were pretty good. Gizzards we’re a little tough but flavorful Turkey wings were good but needed some flavor Hamburger steak was good. I Would ABSOLUTELY return. Appetizer came out after our meals & even though I ordered the kids meal 5 - 10 minutes prior to adult meals it was last . All in all the food is amazing , the waitress might have been new but def not well organized with serving tables . Check them out , for take out be patient there is one COOK. Stop the car hop off the bus whatever you have to do don't drive past this place. I never had a meal I couldn't finish but today they got me. I had the catfish and shrimp with the cornbread. I was about to call my wife and tell her she can have the house I am staying here. Whooo the vibe , the atmosphere and the servers are on point. Plenty of seating, clean bathrooms, the cook can sing . I can't wait to tell my cardiologist he fired if loving fried food is wrong I don't want to be right. Stop , eat and find a room because you are going to need a nap after you eat.

The food is like visiting your southern grandma after not seeing her for a few years, Amazing🔥.The atmosphere is a real vibe bringing this old millennial back with the early 2000’s R&B 🎶. Highly recommend the hamburger steak, chicken & dumplings and my favorite the gizzards 🐔🐔🐔, a must in Elizabeth City.

Amazing food!! Definitely authentic southern food. Fried chicken was lightly breaded and very moist. Catfish and shrimp was delightful. Not overly fried or breaded. Large shrimp. Delicious potato salad, collards and mashed potatoes. A must if eating out in Elizabeth City.

Owner was very pleasant and gave a overview of her establishment. Very cute spot to eat. Food was overall very tasty. She took our critiques and still smiled. I would definitely return and try other items.
