Fred's Bread Bakery & Café

Was excited to try this place. Caught them at the farmer's market and when I made eye contact with the 1 older woman and approached their tent, I didn't get any acknowledgement from her, nor the younger gal there. 5 seconds later, a gentleman approached and immediately received a greeting. I really wanted to try the orange blossom pastry which I received from the young man at the other end of the table. The pastry barely had any orange flavor, let alone any flavor at all. Overpriced for the size of the products

Fred's Bread is an absolute gem in Evanston! I recently had the pleasure of experiencing their delectable chocolate croissants at a Farmers' Market event that I hosted for my clients, and I was beyond impressed. The team at Fred's Bread is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Their passion for baking shines through in the quality of their products, and you can truly taste the difference.

I love his olive bread! So tasty ! His croissants are yummy too. The best in Chicagoland for sure !
