Four Oaks Restaurant & Lounge

It is a lovely hidden gem in South Boston. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We all had leftovers due to the nice size portions. The included salad bar is a great touch! The only complaint I had was the desserts. We were celebrating a birthday so they bought out ice cream with chocolate cake but I also ordered strawberry crunch cake. Both tasted old and dry and the ice cream was a little freezer burnt. Overall the service and our meals were great! Will come again

Always the best meal! One of our go to places to eat when visiting south Boston, been coming for a couple years, always consistent, best kept secret - and they have the best salad bar!

It is not often that I get to leave a 5 star. Review for a restaurant and it pleases me very much that I was able to do so for this place. Everything about this restaurant was absolutely perfect. Britneywas our waitress, and she was so personable, polite and very good at her job. The food was absolutely perfect and cooked perfectly. I personally had The stuffed shrimp, and it was so tasty and just delicious. My wife had fried scallops and definitely enjoyed them very much. We will definitely be returning to this place numerous times while we're in the area. Edit, We came here once again and sure enough is just as fabulous as the first time, Anna was our waitress this time and she was very professional in every way and extremely polite. It seems as everybody here is just as nice as can be

Service was good, but the experience fell short. My Cajun pasta bowl took nearly 50 minutes to arrive (with the majority of the tables empty), with no check-ins from the wait staff during the wait. When it finally did, the chicken was severely overcooked, the pasta was mushy, and the dish had no Cajun flavor whatsoever. Beyond the food, the restaurant's cleanliness was disappointing—the carpet was filthy, and looking down the hall toward the kitchen, things didn’t seem much better. A return visit is unlikely.

Had a great meal there tonight! Food was great and so was the waitress! Very relaxed atmosphere and will definitely go back!
