Foolish Frog

I haven’t been here in a very long time. I ordered the Frogmore stew, which was good except the corn. But I know it’s off season. Dakota, the bartender was awesome and very attentive. She made the best mocktail I ever had! I will definitely return to try other dishes.

We saw on Facebook that this place had a famous Frogmore stew! However, on this vacation we had far to much to eat at our stops. We did split an app and chose the gator bites. Although it wasn't my cup of tea, it was nicely fried and not greasy.

This was our first time dining at the Foolish Frog and it was amazing! Our brunch was crab cakes on an English muffin topped with pouched egg covered in hollandaise sauce with cheese grits! Our waitress was attentive and always had a smile. The marsh view on a rainy day was amazing as well!

Traveling home after a weekend trip to Hunting Island. We stopped for lunch at the Foolish Frog. I haven't had frog legs for over 20 years, so the frog leg appetizer was greatly enjoyed. Thin, crispy batter and tasty sauce. The food and the service were great. Dakota is a great waitress, and she made our stop even more enjoyable with her friendly personality and prompt service! Thank you, Dakota!

Great back porch. Brought water boles out for our dogs right away. Recommended the mahi tacos and fried green tomatoes. It was so good we didn’t even have time to get a photo. The view was very enjoyable.
