Awesome food, and an expansive menu. Parking can be tough, and you may have to wait. We visited on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and it was very busy. We waited about 25 min for a table. Our waitress was nice, but also very busy, we never got refills and had to flag her down for a few condiments. I got a hot chocolate, very warm and cozy and chocolaty. I enjoyed a wonderful eggs Benedict, and shared a blueberry pancake with my sister. She had a bacon and cheese omlette with avocado. My husband enjoyed a western omlette. Once sat, food came pretty quickly. Would love to try again, maybe not so close to a holiday.
We arrived on a Monday around 10:30 and were able to grab bar seating, which was the only option at the time. After placing orders, we did not wait long for our food; pancake combo and corned beef hash and eggs. The pancakes pretty big and tasted great! My partner liked the corned beef hash but wished they had a bit more seasoning. I would definitely is it again when in AVL. The prices were good and I enjoyed the service. I loved watching the employees interact. It seemed like a good family environment.
An excellent spot to start the day with a classic diner breakfast. The food comes out fresh and full of flavor, and the service is quick and friendly. Watching the cooks in action adds to the experience, even if the energy makes it a bit lively. The quality of the meal more than makes up for it, making this place well deserving of a five star review.
Best breakfast spot ever!!! First day we waited 15-20 minutes and it was WELL worth the wait. We had the Western omelet (not pictured), the Farmer's omelet, a biscuit, French toast, and pancakes (not pictured). Simply put, if you're NOT having breakfast here, what ARE you eating?! Definitely a staple for us on this trip. Can't wait to visit again.
We're in Asheville for a long weekend getaway and were looking for a locals place for breakfast. The retro booths, counter service and the short orders cooks right there in front you, gave this a diner vibe restaurant. We booth ordered the 5 Points Special, two of everything - bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes or French Toast. The food was cooked perfectly as ordered. My pancakes were loaded with blueberries. The service was quick and excellent.
