Firehouse Subs Elizabeth City

I ordered dinner tonight on the app and had an issue where my payment went through but my order did not. I tried calling a few times but couldn't get through, so my husband and I figured that we would just go up there to sort it out. I explained the situation to the employees and a woman came over and spoke with us about the issue. She got someone on the phone and was able to get everything right for us. I didn't get her name, but I wanted to shout her out for being so helpful! The whole team working tonight were very polite, accurate and quick! Firehouse is a great choice if you're looking for a high quality sandwich with premium deli meats, fresh ingredients and wonderful flavor! We got the Italian and Hook & Ladder; both sandwiches looked and tasted great!

I never had an issue with this place. I don't know if it's new management or the lack of training when preparing food. Had an online order for rapid pickup at 6:20pm. Got there and I didn't see my order. Thought maybe they're still preparing it. The worker behind the counter ask me did I place an order and I said yes and gave him my name. They had it behind the counter which was odd because normally they'll have at the rapid pickup shelf. Got my drink and went home. Opened the bag and looked at my disappointment of a soggy mess. One sub was mushy and the container was wet. The other sub underneath was a mess, too. Both were Italian subs with no added extra toppings. My mom refused to eat hers. I didn't blame her. Will not be going to this location again. Such a disappointment!

We were welcomed upon entering. Line moved quickly and the food was prepared in a timely manner and was delicious. We'll staffed and clean. Highly recommend to all.

Kids running the place. Parking lot with trash. Husband ordered no pickle but yet a pickle on his plate. I ordered a sub with lettuce and received no lettuce until I went back up there. Kids were more worried about messing around than their job. Chairs were all over.

Most Firehouse Subs are great, this one has fallen far bellow the bar of acceptable service. The employees failed to fulfill the order properly, when approached to rectify said failures they opted to express rude and dismissive behavior. My hope is that this was merely a 'bad day'. Lets all do better by each other.
