El Jalisco Englewood Mexican Restaurant

The food was good, and I especially loved the guacamole that is made fresh at your table, perfect guacamole. I also suggest the al pastor meat in anything, because it was so good, and the Chile relleno was different than what I am used to, but in a good way--they stuff it with meat, and I loved it. The enchiladas were also very tasty, and the beans and rice, however the chicken was kind of dry, so I recommended the other meat options, especially recommended the al pastor. I do not suggest the churros, unless you maybe ask of they were just freshly made, they were stale, and the flan was kind of, I don't know, it tasted old too--it wasn't creamy like I expected. For Florida, this was good Mexican food, I am just from an area where the Mexican food is amazing, so I apologize for that part. I

The food was great. And we all have our own opinions. As someone who has eaten birria and cooked birria many times. This was probably the worst tasting birria and consume i have ever had ( had I just been expecting a beef burrito it was excellent but in the terms of birria it was a No from me. I will gladly invite anyone from the restaurant to my home and I will cook them my birria (willing they are willing to wait several hours for its completion.) For comparison. The food wasn't bad by any means but to put the birria in perspective it would be like putting ranch on your salad and then taking a bite to find out its Bleu cheese. I was expecting birria flavor and it tasted like pot roast.

This place was really good. The service was excellent. My table ordered beef enchiladas with rice and beans and a tamale and the burrito loco. More than enough food, was very tasty and reasonably priced. We also got the 2 for one draft and margarita. Was very worth it. We will definitely be back.

What a great experience @ El Jalisco Englewood. Very modern appearance and the staff was very friendly. They are very helpful describing their menu options. The food was amazing. I will definitely be returning there soon. A+ service.

Awesome good and drinks! Got a blackberry margarita that was on special, and that was particularly good. Food was excellent, service was kind. My wife and I agreed the prices here are higher than we expected, and higher than similar restaurants.
