Vino Loco Wine & Tapas

Vino Loco is a lovely little spot in Englewood with outstanding service, wine and tapas. We have been wanting to stop here for a while and it did not disappoint. Real MD crabcakes, quality cheeses, olives, shrimp bisque, roasted tomato confit, pate, YUMM!! I have to also mention the best white burgundy wine. We tried a number of items and we could not pick what we liked best as all were delicious. Then there were the desserts which I forgot to photograph. Premium carrot cake, amazing chocolate cake and dates which I had never tried but WOW!! Can’t wait to go again.

As a world traveler and foodie with celiac disease, I was blown away by the food here. Had the mushroom risotto and gluten free ciabatta. Superb! Also had really good wine and torte de queso for desert and it was soooo good! Staff was personable and attentive. Thank you so much for making this a memorable valentines dinner.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Cant say enough for the staff and the ambience. The bar tender/Somalia was so knowledgeable. And we met some awesome people! Highly recommend and the town is quite a hidden gem.

Our first visit to Vino Loco was on October 21st and it was mind blowing!! From the wine selection to the apps to the small plates! I absolutely love the atmosphere and the option to dine in or dine on the patio. We literally enjoyed everything we ordered. Not a fan of olives but Vino Loco's are absolutely amazing...didn't even taste like olives due to the wonderful marinade they use. Since we're from Maryland, we had to try the Maryland Crab cake...they did not disappoint, absolutely delish! We sampled many other dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them all. For dessert I opted for the homemade carrot cake, well that just threw me over the edge of pure delite!! Can't forget to give a shout out to our phenomenal server, Jonas!! Vino Loco is the best restaurant on Dearborn Street. Do not pass this place up. Lisa, the owner, is the sweetest. Ian and Jonas are the best. Food is to die for and service is amazing. Been coming here for 10 years, does not disappoint.
