A Better Scoop Ice Cream Shop

Friendly staff, delicious ice cream! They had multiple no sugar added flavors that were delicious for those of us watching sugar intake. My husband got a soft serve hurricane with butterfinger and said it's probably the best he's ever had and that the soft serve tastes like homemade ice cream. We would definitely go here again!

Over over priced for standard ice cream. Two ice creams, one soft serve, the other a one scoop of Pralines in waffle cones came to $16.70. Wow ! I’m sorry it’s a cute place but we’re in Englewood not Main Street Sarasota or St Pete. Won’t be back because your prices $$$$

I had a wonderful experience at A Better Scoop! The shop itself is super welcoming, but my visit was made even better thanks to a younger worker named Ravyn. She was so friendly and helped me choose between different ice cream flavors, which I really appreciated. All the workers there are genuinely nice to talk to, and the whole atmosphere is great. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great little Ice Cream shop. We love our homemade ice cream shops. We have had Arctic Alligator's ice cream before and were actually going to go there this afternoon, but it didn't open until 2p. Then we searched up ice cream shops near us and found this cute ice cream shop that served Arctic Alligator ice cream as well. We were so happy. We got 1 scoop in a waffle cone. I can't resist key lime pie or cheese cake, so when you put my 2 favorite deserts in an ice cream, I have to try it. Let me just say it did nit disappoint. Delicious. My so got chocolate ice cream hard serve, and my husband mixed roasted coconut ice cream and salted Carmel praline on a waffle cone. It was all amazing.
