Havana Soul Paradise

Some of the best Cuban food we've ever had! The parking lot was dark when we pulled up; however, their open sign was on and welcoming so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Cuban platter with pork and the Snapper Fillet platter. Each dish came with four sides - white rice, black beans, yuca, and plantains. Everything was full of flavor! We will definitely be back to try the Ropa Vieja next time we're visiting family in the area. Thank you!

Havana Soul Paradise – A Delicious, No-Frills Cuban Gem After a long, busy day, we were just looking for a quick bite—nothing fancy, just good food. After reading reviews, we decided to try Havana Paradise, and we’re so glad we did. The restaurant is located in a strip mall directly across from Englewood Window and Door. It has a large parking lot in front. The plaza is currently being updated with new landscaping and a watering system, so there’s a bit of work going on, but nothing that would deter you from eating here. Once finished, it looks like it will be very nice. Food I ordered the Cuban Platter ($22.99):

Run don't walk to this restaurant. If you want true Cuban food this is the place to go. Not a large restaurant but that should not deter you. The food is EXCELLENT. Portions are large and the prices are reasonable. We devoured the Loaded French Fries (fries with a smooth cheese sauce and bacon). For our meal we ordered Ropa Vieja and the Cuban Sandwich. All was delicious and home made. Nothing canned about this place. We will definitely be going back to try other things. Don't change a thing. I think I could have bathed in the rice and beans they were that tasty!

Excellent cuban food ! Finally some cuban food in town . We had the oxtail ( one of the best I've had) on the perfect point of spiciness. The croquettes were very good. We also had the steak sandwich and it's huge and delicious, every serving is enough for 2 days. Highly recommend!

Perfectly unexpected delicious food! No competition for these guys as far as Cuban food goes within MILES and miles. Authentic flavors, clean and relaxing space. Definitely a new gem in Englewood. Must try the croquetas!
