El Fogón Venezolano – Hillsboro Today I stopped by El Fogón Venezolano because we had a serious family craving for real Venezuelan comfort food—the kind that’s hearty, flavorful, and made with love. I called Yaerlis, the owner, and asked her to prepare a family parrilla with everything… and she truly delivered. Everything was cooked fresh and made to order using high-quality ingredients. The parrilla included chicken, premium beef, tenderloin, crispy pork belly, excellent chorizo, delicious seasoned arepas, yuca, and a fresh salad with avocado. It also came with a very well-made tartar sauce and a flavorful chimichurri. Beautifully presented and very generous portions—we ordered for four people, but it easily fed six.
