Blue Moon Bakery

This is my second time here and when I went on Halloween Friday, all the staff were dressed up and they offered a raffle for anyone in costume, how fun! They do have 2 parking spots along the shop, but there were street parking available. I am not gluten free but I'm so happy to see all these amazing options for my friends who are gluten free so they can also enjoy more yummy treats! There were certainly so much to choose from it was hard to narrow down what I wanted to try. They also had lots of great seasonal offerings too full of pumpkin and spooky goodness for the season. I got the Spicy Mocha with oat milk which was smooth with a nice kick of spice after each sip. But my favorite was the ube square donut with the matcha glaze!! Blue Moon is my absolute, hands down favorite gluten free bakery. The service is always friendly and genuine and the baked goods always blow my mind. How do they make them so light, delicious and gluten free?! The world may never know, but in the meantime I will always enjoy my devils food chocolate donuts here (and anything else I try)

This is the best gluten free bakery I’ve ever been to: the taste, the selection, the staff, even the pricing - all of it is top notch. My girlfriend and I literally came here everyday for a week and everything we tried was incredible. Maple bars, cookies, glazed donuts, breakfast sandwiches - everything was SO delicious. The staff are also amazing and go above and beyond - they provided recommendations for other businesses and places that we could safely eat at. They were so kind and courteous, I can’t thank them enough. This place feels just like my old small-town bakery, which is something I haven’t gotten to enjoy in the years since my celiac diagnosis. Thanks for the phenomenal food, company, and reminder that being gluten free doesn’t require concessions. P.S. get the maple bars. L

We purchased GF gingerbread house kits from multiple places this year. The one from Blue Moon was by far the nicest looking one, easiest to build, and the tastiest! The kit included everything we needed to mix the royal icing. The royal icing was much better at keeping things together than the icing we received from other bakeries.

The blue moon bakery is the best bakery I’ve found for gluten free good ! We drive 3 hrs just to have it ! It’s amazing and a must try going to Portland !!!
