El Balcón de las Américas - Sawgrass

Great, service awesome food, waiter Freddy very polite and profesional. Over all I love to come here all the time. Valentines special was great.

El Balcón de las Américas in Sunrise is a great spot for authentic Colombian food. The bandeja paisa was delicious and very well prepared flavorful beans, tender steak, crispy chicharrón, and generous portions. The calentado was just as good, comforting and full of flavor, especially with the egg and arepa. Service was excellent as well. Lonnie was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome, which really elevated the experience. Definitely a place I’d come back to for great food and warm service.

This is our first time in the Fort Lauderdale area so someone recommended this restaurant. It did not disappoint. We Loved the food and service. Thank you, Aura. She was wonderful and made us feel at home!!! We had the steak with chimichuri sauce, and the chicken with cilantro sauce. Of course, cheese with guava, pan de bono and maracuya and mora smoothies to complete the meal. 100% Delicious!!

A good option to try Colombian food near the Sawgrass Mills shopping center, just a couple of minutes from the mall. This place was very busy when we arrived, and we had to wait a little while. However, the service and food were good and worth the wait. To end our experience, we tried a delicious Colombian coffee.

The food was delicious, it tasted very authentic. Freddy was our server and the service was great as he was very attentive, overall I would definitely come back!
