Eastgate Inn Bed & Breakfast

Charming, unique and well-cared for home. The owner/host is a delightful, warm woman with endless knowledge of the people and surroundings of the Berkshires. The traffic in and out of Tanglewood on a busy concert weekend can be difficult, but the walk from EastGate Inn is short and lovely. The accommodations are very comfortable and quiet with lovely manicured gardens and whimsical decorations that made me feel I had stepped back in time. To me, this is the PERFECT stay for Tanglewood and the Berkshires!

Dalija is a gem. Sweet, knowledgeable and attentive. Her home is filled with beautiful antiques, country style. I highly recommend staying here.

Our first B&B in decades and it was an excellent option to staying in one of the many local motels.  The home is wonderfully decorated, full of country antiques.  The King Bed Suite is right off the kitchen and the sleeping was extremely comfortable.  We had the home to ourselves, so it was perfectly quiet.  Bathroom modern and excellent hot shower.  We had a minor issue with powering up a CPAP machine, and the owner promptly showed up and it ended up being our fault using the wrong connecting wiring (computer wire instead of CPAP wire).  She was readily available and brought over goodies for breakfast daily, including home made delicious muffins, fresh fruit salad etc.  Usually she prepares hot breakfasts when home has more guests.  We were her first guest of the season!  I was singing at

We had such a great stay at Dalija place. She is very welcoming and the house is filled with things to do. Eastgate Inn is amazing for getting away from city noise and lights; it is cozy. It was close enough to main road for quick bites, and only about 15 minute drive to the mountain for skiing/tubing. Dalija is also a great baker and left us amazing breakfast during our time there. Her porch is decorated with chairs and tables for enjoying the outdoors, even in the cold weather it was very nature-y. The perfect home away from home! We will be back!

If you’re going to Tanglewood Music Festival, this is the place to stay! Walking distance to Tanglewood, lovely, interesting and knowledgeable hostess, comfortable, quiet and unique!
