Hampton Terrace Inn

This was our first time staying at Hampton Terrace and it totally exceeded expectations! Excellent location! Our room was huge! Comfortable bed and excellent water pressure in the shower. We were able to easily relax which is what we were looking to do on this trip to the Berkshires. We appreciated that breakfast wasn't your typical continental breakfast but a hot breakfast buffet that was different everyday. Communicating with Stan, the innkeeper was super easy. He was a text away and very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at Hampton Terrace.

We spent a weekend in Lenox and stayed at the Hampton Terrace Inn. This was not our first time, and the experience still was excellent. We stayed in the main house and enjoyed the ease of walking downstairs to the large sitting room with fireplace and a piano. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The inn is within walking distance to the downtown area with its many excellent restaurants and shops, our favorites being Alba and Cello for dinner, and Haven for lunch. In the summertime, its close to Tanglewood music center. Stan is an excellent host and we have no reservations about returning again.

We got an off-season Spencer room with the classic romance package and if was great. Breakfast was delicious and everything went smoothly. My only complain is that I was not a fan of the chocolates that were part of the classic romance option and would have preferred a larger tray (maybe 9 pieces?) Everything was easily walkable, with downtown being only a few minutes away. Overall a great experience and I will be coming back!

My wife and I stayed for three mid-week nights in early February and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Hampton Terrace Inn is perfectly located to downtown - just a few minutes walk if the temperatures are not too cold. This historic Inn is very spacious and well maintained with lots of very interesting history. The main living room has a wonderfully large gas fireplace with lots of sitting areas, books to read and games to play. The chef who prepares breakfast is great - he is extremely friendly and hospitable and prepares a delicious breakfast spread. He also shared lots of local knowledge with recommendations of things to do and see in the area. Historic inn with a great atmosphere and charm. With the unprecedented cold this past month, there were some issues with the original suite my wife booked as a surprise for my birthday. Stan was very forthcoming about the situation and worked with us to ensure our weekend was successful and comfortable; truly above-and-beyond communication! Chef Sal was fantastic and a real pleasure to spend time with. The breakfast was fresh ingredients and well thought out. Everything was delicious. We loved the charm and cozy decor of the room with the en-suite fireplace. The inn really felt like we were visiting family. We are already planning a return trip for this summer and look forward to their splendid hospitality.
