Döner Shack Ke'eaumoku

The Doner Shack is a local favorite, very popular place for its tantalizing smells and flavorful kebabs. It serves plates, wraps, and has vegetarian options of what is mostly lamb, chicken, made it Pitaz, salads, sandwiches, and Kebabs combos. Staff is youthful and friendly, and prompt when picking up deliveries. About 8 seats inside, so ideal to pickup and take home or sit and eat for a little while.

Today I got to try the deluxe sandwich with the lamb meat and it was great. I have to say that this was my first time trying a lamb meat and it turned out great. The atmosphere and the service was good, but the seating area was very small & tight. It seems they were trying to make every space count and I do give them the credit for trying.

Tastes as sad as it looks. Lady didn't know what shawarma is, so here is their take on chicken wrap. The meat was okey.

They can't pronounce "Döner," but they sure know how to make a really good one. What I like is that there's a base sauce, and then you can choose two additional ones, which come in a separate container. The place wasn't empty, yet we got everything within 4 minutes. Really impressive!

They got our order wrong and the manager isn't very nice. We asked for no sauce on a wrap but they chose to put it on anyway. When confronting manager he stated that yogurt is not a sauce, however the menu specified yogurt as sauce. Technically yogurt is considered a sauce when it's used to add flavor, moisture, or texture to other foods. Also they add garlic to thier yogurt, stated on there menu in the sauce section. The manager is quite abusive to there employees, especially the newer staff at the counter. The entire time I was waiting for my order I heard him complaining about the items which I had asked to leave off my order. The quality of the food is poor and will leave you running for the toilet after. Not worth the price, definitely avoid this place.
