Dunne’s Ice Cream in York Beach, ME is hands down one of my favorite stops whenever I’m in the area! They have an incredible selection of flavors — truly something for everyone — and every scoop tastes rich, fresh, and perfectly creamy. I have a special place in my heart for their Maine Whoopie Pie and Chocolate Oreo Moose flavors — both are absolutely delicious and perfectly capture that classic Maine sweetness with a fun twist. The portions are generous, the service is always friendly, and the atmosphere has that perfect seaside charm that makes every visit feel like summer. If you’re in York Beach and craving amazing ice cream with tons of variety, Dunne’s is the spot. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves real, old-fashioned, made-with-love ice cream!

It's a great ice cream shop in York near the lighthouse. So many flavors are available and I don't even know what to choose. The portion was huge and it is really good. The thing is they accept cash only.

Good ice cream shop! I got the wicked banana bucket and my brother got the hot fudge brownie bucket. They let me choose 3 flavors for my bucket and i got chocolate walnut, pistachio, and sea salt caramel truffle. They were all good and had really good toppings such as nuts and whipped cream as well. My brother got a bunch of brownies in his bucket and it was delicious. He got the cookies and cream ice cream flavor and it was outstanding!! If i come back here i will definitely be getting that (note to self). You can see the lighthouse from the ice cream seating area which is cute. There is an atm and water fountain on the side of the ice cream shop.

Dunne’s Ice Cream is the epitome of your local ice cream shop. It has a massive amount of cleverly-named flavors, all sorts of sundaes and combinations of ice cream, and you’ll feel right at home when you order. The ice cream isn’t the best in the world - it tastes pretty similar to what you’d get at most places - but when driving around this area of Maine, you’ll be hard-pressed find anything better. There’s a decent amount of parking but do be prepared this place can get very busy! Prices are pretty good and the portions are huge. This would be the perfect ice cream shop for kids because they have so many options to choose from and they’ll let you try many different flavors before you order. Check it out!

What a great ice cream spot near the lighthouse! Be careful with what you order because I got a small, and it was already a lot. I asked for a recommendation, and the kid suggested a chocolate mint flavor, it was great. Such a fantastic treat during the summertime!
