Dumpling Yo!

In a nutshell; really good dumpling/comfort food establishment to try out. Simple menu with not the biggest variety of choices but what they offer they make really well. No complaints on service. Food didn't take too long either. Few select booths, seats and tables, probably not meant for a huge party size. Overall nice place to consider if you're looking for dumplings or rolls or a select choices of Chinese food.

am writing to express my disappointment regarding one of the recommended dishes we ordered. As shown in the photo, the quality of the ingredients was unacceptable. Furthermore, the waiter’s indifferent reaction suggests a concerning lack of quality control. On a positive note, the crispy beef rolls were quite good—they are the only reason I am not giving a 1-star review.

Loved the Shanghai noodles, but everything else was meh. The meat in the soup dumplings had the pork stink and it was mushy. The crisp bottom of the pot stickers was bitter and old tasting.

Today, our daughter wanted to eat dumplings for dinner. She saw the good food reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a lot of dishes in total and everything we ordered was delicious. Each dish had its own unique flavor, but our favorite dish of the day was the noodles and beef. My husband told me it was so delicious that he couldn't stop eating and wanted to order more. The service was good, they kept checking on our table and we didn't have to wait long for our food. We will definitely be back.

We stopped for lunch at Dumpling Yo on our way home to LA from Roseville. The food was so delicious! We had the Shanghai fried noodles, shrimp and pork pan fried buns, and Xiao long bao. This was some of the best noodles and dumplings I've ever had and I've had a lot of them! I would highly recommend this place. The service was excellent. If I lived in Sacramento I would be here at least once a week.
