Maria's Paella

Not the usual spot for restaurant, but Id been driving by it on 16th & loved sign! Went for lunch on a Tuesday— sadly not a paella day, but we tried 4 types of empanadas. The fillings were generous & flavorful— particularly the chicken mole ( tho a bit of extra mole sauce on side as a salsa would be lovely. The chicken was plain, but salsa spiced it up. My husband was critical of empanada dough-/ not flakey enough for him I hope theyre able to get space next door for indoor dining. Parking available in front, but hard to get out since on busy 16th street. Next time, Ill park on side street

Took my Wife here for lunch today and the empanadas were delicious! We got to meet Maria and she is really sweet. We wish her and her family the best!! Chad and Elizabeth Lopes

Wonderful, flavorful! I've found it very hard to find good paella in the area - so glad I've discovered where I can find some every Saturday at the Midtown Farmer’s Market!!

We hired Maria and her wonderful team to cater an event for 65 people. The paella was cooked fresh on site and served with care, they even came around to fill our plates with seconds and set up our dessert table after dinner. Could not have had a better experience!

Maria catered our Paella party at our home last summer. Not only was the Paella over the top, her service was equally over the top. She was on time, prepared, and so enjoyable to watch her magic. She did such a great job one of our guests hired Maria for his 60th bday a few weeks later. We love Maria. I want to try the empanadas next! 😋
