D’Orazio’s Italian Marketplace

Let's be blunt: if my house was on fire, I'm grabbing two things on my way out—my family and my D'orazio's sandwich. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least tempted to check the sandwich first. That's how good it is. My wife understands. The dog would understand too if he could taste it. This sandwich isn't just lunch; it's a family heirloom you can eat. Forget the photo albums, the flavor memory is all I need. 10/10 would risk it all again.

I bit disappointed today. This was my 2nd time at the Hanover location, ( didn’t know till I read the reviews just now they have one in Duxbury) my 1st time back in October it was great , today not so much! The chicken cutlet in my chicken Caesar salad wrap was burnt and extremely tough. I was excited cause my 1st visit was so good and I live in Plymouth now I had to go to the South Shore plaza to finish up Xmas shopping and got off the highway just to get lunch here on my way back home. My mom is happy with her turkey gobbler so I guess that’s why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1. But I can say I will be back and give it another shot hopefully with a better outcome next time. *wish I could post a pic with this review to show how burnt it is. I don’t know why I can’t I thought we used to be

This review is for the Duxbury location. Another, "what took us so long?" place. We just wanted a sandwich and no big production either. We were going to grab and go home, knowing they didn't have tables in the shop, but there are a few tables to sit out outside of the shop. Good and fresh sandwiches, made while you wait. Definitely another place we will return to.

The best kept secret on the South Shore. Food is exceptional!

I literally eat here at least 3-4 times a week, as my gift shop, Oropa, is next door. The owners and staff are wonderful and the food is delicious!!! The Hungarian Mushroom Soup is my favorite along with the Turkey Gobbler and Maestro. They also have a great selection of prepared foods which I often buy for dinner! Highly recommend. 10/10!
