We were in a bit of a rush and stopped here for food. We ordered two lobster rolls & cooler beverages. The lobster rolls were made with grocery store hotdog buns but did have a reasonable ratio of celery to lobster. However, the bill? The two lobster rolls & two cooler beverages were $92. Yes, you read correctly. Two small lobster rolls & a few fries. I'd have been able to buy market lobster & make multiple good sandwiches on decent bread for much less.
Great local fish market with a great selection of fresh seafood. And a great place to get a quick bite to eat. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I took home a delicious crab cake for dinner. It was made perfectly. Can't wait to go back and try more. This place has tables outside the market so you can enjoy a nice meal in the beautiful sunshine.
Wow! This was such a fantastic dining experience because it was casual. There were tables outside and a very nice atmosphere surrounded by flowers and shrubs right on the harbor and inside your typical Cape Cod fishery fresh off the boat oh how delicious it was. I had a lobster roll Yum licious and my friend had the swordfish sandwich which was so humongous. There was a portion enough for two grill to perfection, everything was spot on
July 2023: the chowder was good, the crab cake had a bad flavor even though it had a lot of meat, calamari was okay. For some reason the oysters were not as good or as plump as before. We got oysters here many times before although it was the first time we stopped by for lunch attracted by the outdoor space with umbrellas and a cool ocean breeze.
Wanted to love the lobster sandwich, couldn't. Chewy, rubbery, not fresh tasting. Put in our order. "Come back in 26 (ish) mins. Ok. Returned after a drive through the historic "shipbuilders" nabe. What gorgeous homes! Well-tended landscaping, thoughtful architectural enhancements. We returned after a little home ogling. "Ooops! We forgot to put half your order in! Sorry, here is a stuffed quog (w what tastes like cumin and smoke flavoring)!" Ok. Well let's get to what was good. Clam bellies. There were muy tasty, but guys? Donde es tartar sauce.nada. Cole slaw: giant chunks of apples and large pieces of cabbage nestled in a flavorless dressing. Skip. Fries. OK, but not a lover of cumin on fries. NE clam chowder. Ah! A winner. Really creamy, clammy, tasty, good.
