Don Tequila Mexican restaurant

You ever have those moments when you’re not sure if you’re hungry? You might not be. But you might be. So you take the chance to eat, even though you’re unsure of if it’s the right move. But also, if you don’t eat you might die? This was one of those moments. It was nigh on dinner time and I wasn’t sure of my next move. Nothing in particular sounded good. When that’s the case, you can always settle for Mexican. Who doesn’t like tacos and taco related foods? I saw this was a fairly new restaurant so I decided to give it a run. (Also, this place used to be the River Street Station, where I spent A LOT of time stuffing my face). Nostalgia 10/10. Taking a corner booth, I opened my menu and stared. We had such a great experience! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming—perfect for a night out. The margaritas were absolutely perfect—fresh, strong, and just the right amount of tang. The burritos were massive and packed with flavor, and the tamales were some of the best we’ve ever had—authentic and perfectly seasoned. Our server, Blake, was fantastic—super friendly, quick, and really made us feel taken care of. Everything came out fast and hot. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you're craving delicious Mexican food in a fun setting!

You will love this place! Excellent authentic food. Really, really great margaritas, too! Yum! Ask for Ariana or Blake, my favorite servers, but they all are excellent and attentive.

Great spot! Our family stopped in to eat and we had an amazing server Jesus. Very attentive server, and did a great job!We all enjoyed our food! Huge menu and tons of choices, back of the restaurant has perfect picture spots! Good job! If you need a picture taken, look for Hector!

Best Mexican I’ve ever had. We had the Shrimp Al Ajo and pineapple fajitas. It was superb, a lot of food and great presentation. We also had the tres leche cake which was fantastic. Service was great, only thing we didn’t know that they charged for chips and salsa which is usually free and standard with Mexican food. It is a huge menu with a lot of unique dishes. Will definitely be back.
