Dogos El Yaqui

Located within the Next Level Pinball museum parking lot, this is a solid place to grab a hotdog. Tried the Choriqueso dog and it was splendid! It was a different style of hotdog than i am used to, but it was very very good. The top layer of choriqueso goodness was very flavorful and reminded me of a hearty chili but arguably better. On another day, I can see myself having that in between two pieces of bread and forgetting about the rest of the dog. The hotdog at the bottom of the bollilo, and the choriqueso on top seemed to carefully trap a layer of grilled veggies which added a nice acidity, crunch and freshness to the dog. Needed something to eat while playing at Next Level and they are in the same parking the lot. The hot dog was at the bottom of a large bun that was stacked with toppings. Couldn't have been happier with it. The bun was soft, the hot dog tasty, and the toppings plentiful. I even added some extra toppings after getting it. On my next trip to Next Level I will be sure to go back.

I ate here three times and was very satisfied with my food. I had a spicy dogo, a Hawaiian dogo and an order of cheese fries (huge!). Both of the dogos were good and while there are certainly a lot of good dining options in the immediate area sometimes it's easiest to just not leave the property. The owner is very nice and was enjoyable to talk to. I look forward to eating here again next time I visit.

It's okay. Conveniently located adjacent to Next Level Pinball Shop & Museum. You can find better food by heading down NE 25th Ave to the nearest intersection at NE Cornell Rd though, where you will find Burgerville, Vivi's Vietnamese Noodle House, CM Bahn Mi, and Chopstix Grill.
