The food here is excellent and freshly prepared. We especially loved the Keema Paratha — it reminded us of the authentic ones from Karachi. The Chai, brain masala, Halwa Puri, Chicken Haleem, and Kheer were all delightful, truly bringing back memories of the streets of Karachi. It feels like we’ve found a real gem! The customer service is also good and efficient, with a smooth self-service setup. Overall, a wonderful experience for anyone looking for authentic flavors.
Amazing small restaurant that really has amazing food quality. Went in and menu was solid and the staff is really nice. Also the anda paratha was just like the back home pathan owned nashta spots. Really reminded me of the quetta chai spots and good chai. This is so far the best spot ive had in sacramento, way better than many bay area locations and we were visiting. Would recommend others to come here if they want solid pakistani food. Honestly idk what these bad reviews are for tbh
Finally—some proper desi food in Sacramento! Every time we come here, the food is consistently excellent. It’s a small, family-owned spot, so the wait can sometimes be a little longer—but honestly, I’d happily wait an extra 5–10 minutes for fresh, made-to-order food rather than getting reheated dishes like you find at many other places. The naan here deserves a special mention—easily some of the best I’ve had. We originally ordered five naans thinking that would be enough, but they were so good that we ended up ordering twelve! We tried the nihari, halwa puri, paaye, naan, and chai, and everything was outstanding. The spice levels were perfect for my family—we prefer flavors on the milder side, and they got it just right without compromising the authentic taste. What really sets this p
Absolutely horrible experience with them. The chicken achari handi had poorly cut pieces of chicken in it. The naans were so chewy and rubbery that eating them felt like doing cardio for 4 hours straight. The chicken biryani portion was so small I was embarrassed to even throw the rice to the birds AND the rice STANKED. The best part? 2 of my seekh kebabs had barbecued hair deeply embedded in them. Chefs kiss 😘
Overall great tasting food. Liked the nihari, naan & chicken seekh kabobs. Not overly spiced and flavor was great. The lady at the front was very nice. She took the order and made and served the food. Hardworking family owned restaurant. The restaurant needs some attention on decor and overall look of it. Maybe play some light music in the back and add linens to make it warm.
