Danville Public Library

We visit the kids' section often. They always have fun things to do, good book recommendations, and fun toys. My kids love going there. In fact, they usually run in! All of the librarians have been helpful and kind. I recommend it to anyone who wants to check out books/videos/games or if you want to simply sit in a pleasant, peaceful environment.

Excellent library and excellent staff. The only problem I had is them telling me I can’t print more than 20 copies a day. I have never be to a libraries in this state and beyond where you are being told how many copies to print when you have your money and you have school projects to print. I spoke to the manager and everyone there and it’s same result when clearly I was the only one there to print. Like are you guys not here to make money. It’s so annoying. I hope the management will look into the policy.

I love the library!! They've just added a beautiful addition into the building with meeting and study spaces. They have a great selection of audio books for adults. They have movies you can check out with your membership, a great way to see movies for free rather than to pay to rent! The staff members have always been very friendly and helpful. I love the great hours on the weekend as well.

Courteous and helpful librarians and a clean, well lit space with carefully organized shelves. The staff clearly cares about the patrons, the books and many other materials they are responsible for maintaining and managing. Great little library!

I've personally gone to this library since I was a child. Love atmosphere, has the classic old book smell. There is a room with an extensive indiana history section. Large variety of genres, and a decent online system for books. There is a game room with pc s for young and teenage children.
