Country Café

We had a great breakfast here. The all-meat omelette was exceptional, and the biscuits and gravy were awesome. rich, flavorful, and exactly how they should be. The other plate with eggs, bacon, and potatoes may be classic breakfast staples, but everything was cooked to perfection, which really says a lot. We arrived just in time and were seated right away, but about five minutes later the place was packed, which tells you something about how good this spot is. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Service is great. But the food OMG… it’s poor. We both could tell (because we’ve eaten frozen food) that the meals were frozen store bought precooked and then reheated. The baked Mac and cheese was definitely frozen. It tasted like the Trader Joe’s version. I mean I like TJ’s but that’s just not good. The fries were totally frozen and baked because I’ve done that at home and that’s exactly how they taste. No idea how this place has more than 4 stars average.

Do yourself a favor and seek out this little hole-in-the-wall spot! It might be small, but the food and the atmosphere are massive. This is, without a doubt, the best breakfast in town. Specifically, their pancakes are genuinely unbelievable—fluffy, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with love. They are a must-try and reason enough to visit. Beyond the delicious food, the staff deserves major praise. They are excellent, attentive, and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. Come for the cozy feel, stay for the pancakes, and leave happy because of the food and service.

Exactly what was expected from a little country diner. Good breakfast food. Polite and attentive staff. Slightly pricy for what was ordered, but that's everything these days. Parking out front and along the road looks perfect for the size, so if you can get a parking spot you can likely get a table. Make sure you close the door on the way in.

I stop here on my way home to Winchester Virginia. This was the most wonderful place I ever been to. The wait staff was amazing and the food was like country style. Especially the omelet. I will definitely be coming back soon. Thanks to the great service. HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎅 TO YOU ALL.
