Corner Bakery Cafe

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was quite happy with my choice. Had their Uptown Turkey Avocado sandwich which was fresh and flavorful, with a thick juicy cut of turkey, smashed avocado spread, smoky bacon and fresh veggies on toast. The fruit cup side I chose wasn't fantastic but it's the middle of winter so it can be tough to put that together this time of year. Iced tea was self serve and fine. They had some good looking pastries in the counter case, but the cookies were pretty pricey at $3.29 for about a 3" cookie and no one came to take my order after a minute or more of standing there, so I called it good and was on my way. Would like to return and try more of their sandwich, salad, or soup selections.

Corner Bakery Cafe is a solid spot for breakfast. They’ve got a good selection of drip coffee, and service is always prompt. The cafe is clean and comfortable, making it easy to start the day on a good note. A reliable choice when you want a quick, tasty breakfast.

I ordered from here on Uber Eats. Huge mistake! I’m not sure it was horrible because it was ordered online and they figured no one would say anything, but I notified Uber and sent picture. They refund my order. Everything looked wilted, dried out and lacking flavor. Not sure how they manage to get 4.2 stars on Uber, but if I could give 0 stars I would. I requested avocado which I was up charged for it, nowhere to be found. The salads look like they’re premade, the croutons are soggy some of the lettuce was rotten. The sandwich I ordered, where do I begin?! I guess I could call it cheap and tasteless. Not worth the price they charge + the avocado that I didn’t get. For the prices they charge I was expecting not only more, but better! Disappointed all the way around. Would recommend at all.

The chicken pomodori is very tasty, though not worth $13.19. Pairs great with the tomato/broccoli cheddar soup. Grilled cheese is overpriced ($9.79), and tastes ok. I can only justify the price IF the ingredients of each item are actually good for you. I personally did not enjoy the pancakes, and they were a little burnt 😅 The monster cookie was nice and soft which I love, and the other bakery items look amazing, hoping to report back that they are as tasty as they look. 🙏🏼

The chocolate croissant was surprisingly good. A bit soft since it was shelf-sitting, but the flavor was great. The cake was great too. Definitely going back for more croissants.
