Clematis House

We stayed at the clematis house for a week while my daughter attended Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet summer intensive . Stephen was an amazing host. The apartment was so peaceful, very clean, and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. He even provided snacks to get us started and offered his services to drive or tour one through town as needed. We had a car so did not take him up on the drive, but he had several helpful suggestions of things to do and see. The house is also in the charming historical area of Carlisle, so you have all of the charming feel w updated appliances, ac, and comfort. I loved our stay and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to call home while traveling in Carlisle. Thank you Stephen!

Our stay here was excellent! Just what we needed for another long weekend for Corvettes at Carlisle. Stephen was a great and responsive host making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible! We had a great time. The place was squeaky clean and well equipped. We were also located within walking distance of many of the restaurants in Carlisle, which was nice and convenient!

Clematis House is a delight! The rental is a beautifully renovated, 2-bedroom apartment on the full second floor of an historic home just a short walk to main street Carlisle and its wonderful restaurants and cute shops. The apartment is bright, with large windows and high ceilings, and I love the balcony off the back overlooking a charming garden. The huge, eat-in kitchen is fully appointed with everything needed to cook meals, or get take out to enjoy in the pleasant ambiance. The large bedrooms feature comfortable mattresses and tasteful decor. The living room is cozy with nice leather couch and chairs, and homey touches, including real plants. This is a wonderful place to stay. It is a beautifully renovated upstairs apartment with everything a cozy home should have. It is in immaculate condition and beautifully decorated. It has a private entrance and is located in the center of Carlisle, a great place to visit, near Gettysburg and Lancaster County. The host is friendly and aims to please! You will have a great stay!

What a great find. The apartment is walking distance to all that downtown Carlisle has to offer. Located on a quiet street. All modern upgrades for an older home makes for a great combo of historical Carlisle but modern comforts. The place is clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed. Great place to stay. HIGHLY recommended.
