Stuart Manor Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary! Russell and William were such accommodating and gracious hosts. They put a great deal of care into running their bed and breakfast and it shows. We stayed in the Stuart Suite and it was absolutely lovely! The awesome shower and soaking tub, with a stunning view, were surely a highlight for us. We truly loved our time at Stuart Manor, and would absolutely return for another stay in the future! The Manor and the property is absolutely gorgeous! The attention to detail in each space is enhanced by the high-end antiques and careful restoration of the original features. There is a saltwater pool and beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. It truly feels like a manor and not just another restored Victorian-era home. Breakfast was delicious and the portions generous. There is so much to do in the area, from great restaurants to shopping to antiquing or exploring historical sites like Gettysburg. But truly, I would be happy just lounging by the pool during the summer or sipping bubbly by the fire pit in cooler weather and reveling in all the beauty of the surroundings. "Stuart Manor B&B" in Carlisle, PA.|A gorgeous historic home I had the pleasure of staying at over the weekend. |Absolutely stunning grounds, heated pool, koi pond and stream running through the gorgeous landscaping, awesome lounge area with fireplace and outdoor bar. |The homes interior is a master piece of historic era furnishings with all the modern updates you could think of. Each room with 15 foot high ceilings is exquisitely decorated and a feast for the eyes. Hotel Steward Manor Bed-and-Breakfast is the very definition of a hidden gem. This beautifully restored property is filled with charm at every turn. Each room is decorated with delicate antiques (many sourced from retirees headed to Florida, which I found delightfully ironic), and the common areas are just as inviting. From the cozy sitting rooms to the warm hospitality at breakfast, everything about our stay felt thoughtful and personal. We especially loved the chance to swim in the pool with our grandson, who was welcomed with such kindness. The two hosts are incredibly gracious and made us feel right at home. I cannot recommend this bed-and-breakfast enough—it’s truly a hidden gem tucked away in the woods of Pennsylvania.

Beautiful retreat. Quiet, serene, and relaxing. Russell and William did an incredible job restoring the property, paying close attention to even the smallest of details. The rooms are even more impressive than their pictures. The hospitality was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious. And let’s not forget, the two adorable, well-behaved pups. We will be back!
