China Chef

One of the better Chinese takeouts in the Murrells Inlet area. It is in the Food Lion shopping center. Tasty well presented and the place is clean. Food was a little on the spicy side but not crazy!!

Been eating here long before COVID and just how they nailed pick up during lock down they did as well with all my orders before and since then! They even make my egg drop spicy wonton combination soup at my request!! ! 💯

We were visiting from North Charleston and staying at the Country Club Villas in Surfside Beach and decided to order from China Chef. The customer service was amazing 🤩 and the food was so delicious 😋.It is a rarity to find fresh and delicious Chinese Food. The egg drop wonton soup was amazing.Crab Rangoon had fresh crab meat 🥰. Our family definitely plans to come back and visit Surfside Beach and when we do, China Chef will be the place to eat.☺️🥰🫶🏾🫶🏾🫰🏾🫰🏾

My favorite Chinese food place was closed, but this one was a few minutes away so we decided to try it. Prices were reasonable for portions, and service was nice. We came and saw their dining room wasn’t open, so I ordered online and it was super straightforward. The food was ready within 20 minutes, which was pretty good. The food itself was a little lackluster. The chicken and broccoli I ate tasted a little strange. The wontons were also lacking in taste and filling. But, nonetheless, it scratched my itch for Chinese food, and I would not be opposed to coming here again.

The food wasn’t nasty. It was eatable. Some of my shrimp was a little nearly. They need to make sure that the shrimp are kept at the temperature it’s supposed to be the picture shows very thin noodles in the lo mein, but they are too thick.
