Carolina Food Park

I got to enjoy the Fish Shak Food truck while enjoying A Night of a thousand candles. I had their food before and it was just as delicious as the first time. The quality and quantity of the food was top notch. I ordered the triple play, which was Jumbo fried shrimp, flounder and grouper bites with potato chips. Thanks for the good eats!!

Staying in Surfside and hungry for fish and shrimp but wanted local, home cooked so found the The Fish Shak food truck. Right off US 17 nice, clean, parking area with an ice cream shop, The Fish Shak truck and my understanding more food trucks coming with authentic home cooked food. Food was excellent and we ordered the XL Flounder, Grouper Fingers and Shrimp to share. Plenty for 2 and ate at one of the shaded picnic tables. Delicious and highly recommend.

We were looking for a quick lunch and found the Fish Shak! The seafood is phenomenal without a doubt. My husband ordered the shrimp salad, an order of chips and the shrimp spring rolls. He loved everything; but, the shrimp spring rolls were his favorite. I ordered the small shrimp basket with a side of sweetcorn hush puppies. The shrimp were so fresh and tender and the hush puppies were spot on some of the best I've ever had. There was only 1 person working the food truck and she did an outstanding job. She was steady busy taking and making orders. There were no complaints by any of the customers and I mean she had a steady flow of customers. Job well done!!

I live in the Inlet and this is my go to shrimp place! Beautiful large shrimp! I love all of the sauces, I suggest you try them all. I was happy these fine folks were happy to honor my special request to not fully cook the potatoes just like my old hometown hangout that were called "Raw Fries" However I have had them crispy and I love them both way. I'm not much of a fish eater so I have not tried the fish. If you want to avoid the lines and high $$$ of the many other options try The Fish Shak, Great food and nice folks who run the place.

Road-trip to Pawley’s Island Beach for an afternoon of sun, sand and swimming got us hankering for some seafood. Not dressed for dinner dining got us googling for a nearby food truck that led us to The Fish Shak. Located in their new location at Carolina Food Truck Park @ 513 Courtfield Drive, Murrells Inlet along side the Hampton Inn. Fish Shak is seafood made to order with a nice selection of combo baskets of shrimp, flounder, grouper and Mahi-Mahi, tacos, sandwiches, sliders, soups and sides. Our combo XL was a nice serving of 2 lightly battered and seasoned flounder fillets and 6 jumbo shrimp fried to golden perfection with a side of tartar sauce. A heaping of thin potato chip style hand-cut fries and a dill ranch dipping sauce. A side order of hush puppies and we were in dining bliss
